What happens when a sandbox expires?

When a sandbox expires all of its data is deleted. This includes all aspects of its database, wordpress settings, plugins, uploads, media and user accounts are deleted. 

Please be sure to back up anything you wish to keep before you delete a sandbox and before it expires because there is no way for us to retrieve sandbox contents.

The sandbox name may be made available to be reused for future sandboxes.

You may also save a sandbox as a template so that its contents and settings may be reused and revisited at a later time.

Each time you create a sandbox from a saved template, it will have a new sandbox name, url, and SSH settings.
